That's right -- Green Cross (Lviv) -- they took a bunch of people with disabilities white water rafting down the Dnister River.
Since you're interested in helping orphans in Ukraine, Help us Help the Children (Canada) holds a bi-annual camp for orphans in the Carpathians and World CYM will hold a camp for disenfranchised children in August (2 or three weeks) in Bila Tserkva, Kyivska Oblast. -Mark in Kyiv
I have heard of Help Us Help the Children, but have never really researched them, thanks for the insight. I'm going to have to look them up!
